Melissa Christou – Owner / Master Stylist
Having a passion for hairstyling, Melissa fulfilled her lifelong dream of owning a salon when, she opened HairClassics in 2005. A cosmetologist since 1975, she is accomplished in all facets of hair design and excels in cuts, colors, perms and specialty hair treatments. Whether you have curly, straight or wavy hair Melissa can tame it, shape it, and fashion it into an amazing style.
Melissa listens carefully to her customer’s requests and uses her creativity and expertise to fashion styles that increase fullness, texture and color, depending on the customer’s needs. She loves to see her clients smile. To see them happy after a service is the best compliment she can get and it is what she likes most about being a stylist.
When not working, which is rare, she keeps herself busy with her family which includes her husband of 35 years, her two sons, a daughter and her grand-daughter.

Gina – Master Stylist
Gina began in the industry 25 years ago and has spent 7 of those years with HairClassics. Gina is an expert in color design and has achieved Advanced Color Professional certification from Wella. Skilled with all types of hair, she especially enjoys gray coverage and creating natural looking highlights.
Passionate about cosmetology, she actively pursues education in her craft and is also certified in the Global Keratin Smoothing System and thick-it extensions which provide fuller looking hair with less maintenance. Gina is passionate about being a stylist stating, "I love what I do and take great pride and care in my work".
When she is not at the salon Gina likes to kick back and relax with family and friends listening to local bands or watching a movie.

Mary – Master Stylist
Mary, a natural born designer with a gift for hair, started in the industry at the Hanover Park Beauty Academy in 2006. After excelling through the program she graduated and joined the HairClassics team. Her talents are diverse and she specializes in haircuts and styling for men, women and children, from business to special occasion, conservative to edgy. She enjoys working with people of all ages and with various textures of hair. Mary uses and recommends Redkin and Wella Professional products.
In her free time Mary enjoys working out at the gym.
